If we believe in these own limitations and act accordingly, our thoughts become reality! This happens not only in a symbolic sense, but in a very <b>tangible<\/b> way. I would like to invite for a little experiment&#8230;<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c555c33 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"c555c33\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\"><b>Thought<\/b> experiment<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-694530b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"694530b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Imagine the following situation and pay attention to your body sensations while doing so:<br \/>It\u00b4s a warm summer day. You are on vacation and prepare a homemade lemonade on a table. Right in front of you there are two big, yellow and freshly harvested organic lemons on a cutting board in the table. They already exude their fresh <b>scent<\/b> throughout the room. You close your eyes and take a deep breath through your nose. How fresh that smells! You cut the lemons in two halves each and notice the scent becoming more intense. Smell it! You can&#8217;t resist anymore! You take a lemon half in your hand up to your mouth and bite in it. You taste the <b>fresh <\/b>and<b> sour<\/b> liquid in your mouth. The sour &amp; fruity lemon juice is everywhere in your mouth now. Take your time for 1-2 minutes, close your eyes, imagine this and pay attention to <b>physical changes&#8230;&#8230;<\/b><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-700741b elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"700741b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Thoughts | immediate <b>reactions<\/b><\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c63305b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c63305b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Thank you for participating in that experiment! Did you notice any change?<br \/>Most people report salivation or\/and squeezes in their cheeks. Did you have that too? What seems super simple is actually impressive! Take a closer look: There\u00b4s no lemon here. In other words: The reactions of your body were initiated by thoughts &amp; imagination. Even I salivated while writing this!\u00a0<b>Just by a thought<\/b>! The experiment shows, that a thought triggers an <b>immediate physical reaction<\/b>. Even without a &#8220;present&#8221; lemon, we react as if we had really bitten into one. Our brain cannot <span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">distinguish between thought and reality<\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">. And our body system can\u00b4t help it &#8211; it reacts while being conscious at the same time, that there is no real lemon. The same applies, when we\u00b4re watching a horror movie or read a crime novel &#8211; our pulse goes up &#8211; even if we only read written words.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-da51b43 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"da51b43\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\"><b>Negative <\/b>thoughts | <b>Effects<\/b><\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2bbbf45 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2bbbf45\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>That means also: <b>Thinking about <\/b>failing for example, our system will create the inner milieu that makes us feel, like <b>we already have failed<\/b>. If we consider ourselves not to be skilled, good enough or insecure (self-labeling),\u00a0the physical reaction will make us feel exactly that way. Acting accordingly will eventually produce an appropriate result. That\u00b4s what a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Self-fulfilling_prophecy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><u>self-fulfilling prophecy<\/u><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0truly is. A mental forecast causes feelings, which then lead to action and results, approving the forecast.\u00a0<br \/>That\u00b4s how\u00a0a thought turns into a perceived (and then actual) reality. Sadly this is also how &#8220;security&#8221; is perceived. Because if the forecast seems to be approved, we experience ourselves as in control &#8211; we\u00b4ve been predicting this. And: We were right.\u00a0<\/p><p>That\u00b4s why it is also hard to change such patterns. They\u00b4re stabilizing the self-image and generate the illusion of security and predictability. All that happens while one\u00b4s not conscious about the fact, that the predict confirms itself by believing it.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p>Pay attention on how you feel physically while thinking\u00a0<b>negative thoughts<\/b> about your own person. You may feel a heaviness, tightness, or a change in posture. Cross-check: How does it feel when you think of your positive qualities, a successful project, or your skills? Or about a beautiful day at the seaside, about how you met a dear person. <br \/><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text );\">You&#8217;ll find out, that your body immediately\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #003738; font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\">responds<\/span><span style=\"color: #003738; font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\">to this as well.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\">Even if this is nothing new and posts about positive thinking flood social media and the internet. Look underneath the surface of those quotes and realize:\u00a0<\/span><b style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif;\">What you think, is incredibly powerful<\/b><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\">!<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-74ddf00 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"74ddf00\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Reflection |<b> How do I think about myself?<\/b><\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-26af5a4 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"26af5a4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>What you believe to be true is what becomes true (for you). How do you think about your abilities, talents, desires and needs? How about your path of life, your failures, successes, heartbreaks, heart moments and setbacks? What kind of story are you telling yourself? And &#8211; is it really true?<\/p><p>Maybe you\u00b4re familiar with phrases like: <i>&#8220;How will I ever do this?&#8221;<\/i> or <i>&#8220;This can&#8217;t work&#8221;<\/i> or <i>&#8220;I&#8217;ll fail!&#8221;<\/i>\u00a0<\/p><p>Honestly speaking &#8211; I know that as well! The problem is: If we <b>automatically<\/b> adopt such thoughts as beliefs, we program ourselves to constantly experience helplessness, negativity and failure. Our system is flooded by it and will for sure affect our perception of the past, present and &#8211; future. The matrix gets solidificated, which means:\u00a0Another outcome\u00a0is almost impossible (see self-image, security and stabilization)!<\/p><p>\u00a0 <br \/>We all have these moments, regarding ourselves negatively. This is normal unless it\u00b4s not an everlasting belief. <br \/>I want to encourage you to slip into a\u00a0<b>new perspective<\/b>. Check your way of (unconsciously) thinking about yourself, life and other people.\u00a0Check again, if there\u00b4s a pattern lying underneath and if it automatically repeats.\u00a0<br \/><span style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\">Do you <\/span><span style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\">think negative in a consistent was? <br \/>Do you always assume the worst &#8211; without realizing it?\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\">If so &#8211; make a decision today: Start being <\/span><span style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif;\"><b>fair<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\"> to yourself by consider <u>success<\/u> <\/span><span style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif;\"><b>at least as possible<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\"> as <u>failure<\/u>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>Automatic one-sided thinking in negative ways isn\u00b4t the truth at all.
